They need to read someone Intelligent as Rene Guenon. I'd really recommend his "Crisis of the Modern World" and other books like "Reign of Quantity".
this also reminds me of the fact that the 'angel of death' is constantly there with us round the clock waiting for the instructions...its there in the tafsir...Surah Kahf...but we are not afraid of this fact...rather if we are told that a Jinn has taken control of our house...we will begin doing 'dhikr' immediately...strange no?
