Citigroup Posts $8.29 Billion Loss and Will Split

Citigroup on Friday reported a fourth-quarter net loss and
provided more details of an ongoing restructuring plan that
will divide the company, for management purposes, into two
separate businesses -- Citicorp and Citi Holdings.
